Pink University is rebranding to pave the way for its accelerated growth in the booming global e-learning market. The new brand name is now PINKTUM. To support its expansion, the company leased 1,900 square meters of additional studio space in the historic Geesthof in Hamburg to complement its Munich location.

Hamburg/Munich, February 09, 2022. As one of the leading providers of e-training, Pink University wants to take advantage of the momentum of global market growth and accelerate its international expansion. "With PINKTUM, we have found a new brand name that fits us perfectly internationally," explains Philipp Mehrtens, Managing Director Sales. "PINKTUM is derived from the company name Pink University, which continues to exist and has stood for didactic and content quality as well as innovative strength for more than 10 years." The reference to the word Momentum is intended to convey the dynamics with which the company is modernizing and growing corporate training. Dr. Wolf-Bertram von Bismarck, Philipp Mehrtens, and majority shareholder Joachim Pawlik (PAWLIK Group) launched the international expansion course as early as January 2021.

PINKTUM plans to create e-trainings in many languages over the next five years for the international markets alone. To this end, studio capacities and technological and human resources will be significantly expanded. The number of employees already tripled last year. "By renting the Geesthof from July this year, we have found a new home in the media city of Hamburg with ideal general conditions. The new premises give us full flexibility to adapt learning content for new target markets and to implement our ambitious production plans," says Dr. Wolf-Bertram von Bismarck, Managing Director and responsible for production.

The lessor of the new space in Hamburg is alstria office REIT-AG.

Localization strategy sets standards in digital staff development

With digitalization and globalization, the need for learning uniform competencies is also growing to promote intercultural exchange. PINKTUM promotes digital staff development and is continuously expanding its e-learning library with training courses in many languages that are adapted to the respective cultural area. Currently, PINKTUM's online library contains over 300 multilingual e-learnings. This year, the offering is to be expanded to more than 500 multilingual e-trainings; with the same learning content, personal language, and individual culture. With this momentum, PINKTUM is setting new standards in digital HR development.
