Former Engel & Völkers Board Member Joins PINKTUM

HAMBURG, GERMANY and CHICAGO, IL, November 7, 2023: After more than two decades as CFO of Engel & Völkers, 53-year-old Thilo von Trotha has been appointed to the management board of digital personnel developer, PINKTUM, as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). With his experience in scaling business models, Thilo looks forward to helping write another successful growth story at the educational technology company.

PINKTUM, an EdTech company, is one of the leading digital personnel developers in Europe. By adding a proven expert in growth financing and international scaling of business models, PINKTUM now intends to further expand its position in the market going forward. Thilo von Trotha will join the PINKTUM management team as Chief Financial Officer on January 1, 2024. He will take over the finance department from CEO Joachim Pawlik, who has been jointly responsible for it to date. As of November 1, 2023, von Trotha has been available as Corporate Finance Advisor for PINKTUM.

Since 2002, Thilo von Trotha has overseen the finance department of real estate company Engel & Völkers. For more than two decades, he helped grow the firm to its current size, utilizing his expertise in scaling business models. The economist began his career as a consultant at McKinsey, then co-founded real estate platform Property Gate AG (later Immonet), where he was responsible for finances as CFO for over two years. Von Trotha is also a lecturer for "Principles of Finance" at the HSBA business school in Hamburg.
